Have Fun on your high street while Supporting NHS charities together

Hiccupmonster

Just a few months ago high street experiences were flourishing like never before, people were being (and can again) drawn into their town and city centres not just to shop but to interact, enjoy, learn and play.

During the recent crisis we have also seen the power of ‘experience trails’ as people look for activities to do safely with their families. Rainbows and teddy bears displayed in residential windows have become synonymous with the lockdown.

This ambitious new project, which aims to bring a fun, family experience to every high street in the UK, wants to raise at least £100k for NHS Charities Together.

MonsterHero Safari works by utilising contactless NFC technology and QR codes, without the need for players to download or sign up to anything. The safari consists of 10 vinyl window characters, monster superheroes this time, with embedded NFC tags that mostly independent and charity retailers, as well as cultural and public venues, will host.

Families will be able to start the safari by tapping or scanning any of the characters and either paying a nominal platform cost (with further donations going 100% to NHS Charities Together) or, where the host organisation has subsidised the platform costs, simply donating whatever they can.

For families on the safari they will be able engage with the experience by tapping each character’s belly and learning their names, stories and powers. Younger children will delight in spotting the cute and colourful characters in window corners and older (and grown-up children) will engage by learning more about them.

After spotting all 10 “MonsterHeroes”, families will be rewarded with a free e-book about the characters first team-up adventure.
